We need each other.

We are all in this experience of life and death together.

Through our shared stories, we have an opportunity to see more of what connects us rather than what divides us.

We want to help people remember that good deeds and kind gestures make the world a better place.

We created this website for all of us and for the love of humanity.

The purpose of this website and our project is simple.

It’s about love and belonging. It's about compassion and understanding. It's about our stories. It's about all of us. All seven and a half billion people on this planet.

For the Love of Humanity was created to provide a safe haven online for people to share their stories of good deeds and kind gestures. Through our shared stories, we have an opportunity to see more of what connects us rather than what divides us and to be reminded that we're all in this experience of life and death together.

Good deeds and kind gestures happen in the world every day, but what appears on the news and in our social media feeds is usually not good nor kind. We are creating something different here. You won't have to scroll through our stories to find the heart-warming and life-affirming ones. They are the stories that make you feel grateful to be alive and to be a part of this world. They are about love and loss, life and death. They serve to remind us of our humanity. They are the stories that help us heal.

We all want to feel love, experience connection with others and know we're not alone. Sometimes in this crazy, beautiful world of ours, we forget those things. In doing so, we also often forget to be good and kind to each other. Sometimes all we need is a little reminder of our own goodness so we can remember and experience the kindness and generosity in others.

Through your stories and our affirmation cards, we want to play a small part in helping humanity remember we are at our best when we lift each other up and when we experience what we have in common with one another.  This is a place online where our collective needs as human beings can be expressed and witnessed. To be heard and understood. To see and be seen. To love and be loved. To feel a sense of belonging to something greater than oneself.

If you have a story you'd like to share about a time when either you rendered a good deed or kind gesture or one was made for you, we'd love to include it here. We reserve the right to edit the story for clarity and brevity, but we'll be sure to check in with you before we post it. Thank you for being here.
